Leading

• Built and lead an 8-person technology team across engineering, business analysis, infrastructure and an AI apprenticeship. Set KRA scorecards, succession plans and an AI engineering curriculum.
• Own the group's multi-crore IT budget: built bottom-up from costed scenarios, agreed with the MD and re-baselined with Finance against every signed contract.
• Report technology progress, risk and spend to the MD and the board. Wrote the group's two-year IT plan and its longer-term technology direction, with 70+ architecture decision records behind it.
• Verified IT spend at contract level, which corrected the ERP subscription forecast and stopped an oversized AI hardware purchase before any money went out.

Building

• Architected and run the group's governed AI platform: role-based access, audit logging and PII redaction built in under every tool, with 1,700+ automated tests.
• Shipped plain-English querying of production data for business users, with per-user data masking and a red-team review before release.
• Rolled out an AI assistant across IT and business teams with a governed skill library, adoption tracking and a monthly usage and cost report to the MD.
• Put bilingual Hindi-English speech-to-text on sales calls into production. Led the build of a 20-agent intelligence pipeline with 1,900+ tests.
• Set one engineering standard for every repository: a policy-guarded AI development harness, branch protection, secret and PII scanning, and CI budgets.

Running

• Lead the IT general controls (ITGC) review with the statutory auditor, across ERP, finance systems and infrastructure.
• Interim Data Protection Officer for DPDP Act 2023 readiness: records of processing, processor register, processor agreements and the IT policy set.
• Run the security programme: identity and access management, and email authentication (DMARC, SPF and DKIM) across the full domain estate.
• Run the ERP estate on Odoo v17 and SAP Business One. Strengthened GST e-way bill controls in dispatch.
• Cut daily production errors by an order of magnitude through root-cause analysis and release discipline.

• Built and led an 11-person delivery team with two team leads, running ERP delivery end to end for enterprise clients in the UK, EU and India: requirements, build, deployment, training and support.
• Delivered a European retail ERP with 15+ marketplace integrations, manufacturing MRP for an Indian manufacturer, and a UK warehouse system tracking 100,000+ units across five sites, commissioned on site.
• Started the team's AI-assisted delivery practice and open-sourced an agentic workflow toolkit. Migrated a key client from Odoo v15 to v17 and owned its DevOps: infrastructure, backups and CI/CD.

• Managed developers across parallel client projects and ran ERP-to-Odoo migrations with zero data loss.

• Lead developer and client contact on e-commerce projects: 40+ Odoo modules and 50+ client customisations across Odoo 10 to 14.
